Possessing a bright, agile, and versatile tenor voice, Michael is a young artist with a broad performance background of opera, music theater, commercial, and sacred music.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Palmisano's greatest influences as a young singer were rock artist such as Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers, Lou Gramm, and Freddy Mercury. While pursuing his undergraduate degree at UNF, he developed an appreciation and respect for opera. Michael's roles include Rodolfo from Puccini's La Boheme (UNF Opera), Tamino from Mozart's Magic Flute (UNF Opera and European Musical Academy), Sam from Kurt Weill's Street Scene (UNF Opera), Basilio from Mozart's Marriage of Figaro (UNF Opera), Nanki Poo from Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado (UNF Opera), Contino Belfiore from Mozart's La finta giardineira (UNF Opera), Gastone from Verdi's La Traviata, and Parpignol from Puccini's La Boheme (Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra).Michael carries a great presence on stage and presents a wide range of artistic interpretations.
While performing and developing as an artist, Michael has been blessed and thankful to have served for multiple churches in the Jacksonville area, where he lifts his voice to the glory of God. Michael is also an inspiring vocal pedagogue.
